Tissue-Tek® Tissue-Clear® is a biodegradable substitute for xylene. It is odourless and compatible with common mounting medium. The biodegradable and non-hazardous properties of Tissue-Tek® Tissue-Clear® permits disposal as a non- hazardous material (where allowed by local authorities).
