Another step has been made by Sakura Finetek to achieve complete automation in the laboratory, by offering a total solution for both routine and special staining linked to a Coverslipper. The Automated Slide Stainer is linked to either a Film® or Glas™ Coverslipper, offering the user the possibility to walk-away, and unload the Coverslipper after 12 baskets of 20 slides are coverslipped.
The link between the Stainer and Coverslipper will eliminate all manual unloading and manual loading of the Coverslipper. Sakura offers you two possibilities for automated Staining and Coverslipping… when full flexibility meets high quality!
The Tissue-Tek® Prisma® & Coverslipper linked offer you:
•Interfaced Automated Slide Stainer and Coverslipper
•Different and lower volumes of reagent reservoirs (160, 260 and 680 mL) to decrease operating costs
•Three-step operation to change configurations of the reagent reservoirs with a convenient tray system
•Capacity between 31 and 51 reagent reservoirs
•2 optional heating stations for special staining
•Maximum unloading capacity of 240 slides in a convenient unloading area in the Tissue-Tek® Coverslipper
•Manual loading of slide baskets possible in the Tissue-Tek® Coverslipper when linked to the Tissue-Tek® Prisma®
