Tissue-Tek® Mold Release
Tissue-Tek® Mold Release is used for coating base Molds to ensure clean separation of embedding paraffin from the Mold after embedding. The working solution is prepared by adding 5-ml of Mold Release Concentrate to 95-ml ethyl or isopropyl alcohol, or by using ready-to-use Mold Release Spray. The Molds are sprayed or dipped in solution and dried prior to embedding.
